Can I fit acrylic behind a hob or cooker?

No. Acrylic is a thermoplastic that softens from around 80°C and is combustible, so it must not be fitted behind gas, electric or induction hobs, cookers, wood burners or any open flame. Use toughened glass, stainless steel or tile in the cooking zone and keep acrylic at least 150mm from any heat source.

How do I fix it to the wall?

Most installers use a flexible neutral-cure silicone or a splashback-grade adhesive. We can also drill mirror-disc fixing holes.

Yes, we can match to a colour reference or RAL, with a small lead time on stock.

Will it scratch?

Day-to-day use is fine. Avoid scouring pads, harsh solvents and dragging sharp pots across it.

Do you do bathroom and shower panels?

Yes, the same panel and finish works behind basins and around sinks.

How do I measure for socket and tap cut-outs?

Note the centre-point of each socket or tap from a fixed corner and the cut-out size. A clear sketch with dimensions is enough.

Acrylic colour runs through the sheet, so both faces match. We typically install with the gloss face out.
