What wood options do you offer?

Bamboo, beech, oak and walnut. Bamboo is the lightest and most affordable, beech is the classic pale hardwood, oak sits mid-premium with a stronger grain, and walnut is the darkest and most premium. Every board is finished with a food-safe oil.

Can I upload my own logo or design?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We accept PDF, SVG, PNG, JPG, DXF, AI, EPS and CDR files up to 10MB. Vector files such as SVG or DXF give the best engraving results because the laser follows the exact lines rather than a traced bitmap.

Question 3

Where can the engraving go?

Accepted Answer

Top, centre, bottom or a corner of the board. We can also engrave the front and back (double-sided) for an extra charge, which is popular for a name on one side and a message or recipe on the other.

Is the engraving food-safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The engraving is burned into the wood by the laser itself, not painted or inked, so there is nothing to flake off into food. The whole board is then finished with a food-safe oil.

Question 5

How do I look after the board?

Accepted Answer

Hand wash it in warm soapy water, never soak it or put it in the dishwasher, and dry it standing up so air gets to both faces. Re-oil it occasionally with a food-safe board oil to keep the wood conditioned and stop it drying out.

Can you do a custom size?

Not through the configurator yet, it covers the four standard board sizes. If you need a one-off size, message us on WhatsApp with the dimensions and we will quote it directly.

How long does it take?

Most boards are engraved, sanded, oiled and ready in 2 to 4 working days. Collect from our Dublin 12 workshop or we deliver anywhere in Ireland.

Do you do bulk or corporate orders?

Yes. Logo-engraved boards are a popular staff and client gift, and we offer volume pricing on batches. Reach out through the quote page with your quantity and logo and we will price the run.
